General

The software tools presented here are provided to registered Sonnet customers for use with Sonnet Software products. They must not be used for any other purpose.

Layout transfer from Sonnet to Gerber RS-274-X

A lot of software tools support the transfer of layouts to Sonnet for electromagnetic analysis and verification. Vice versa, with our tool GerberWizard, Sonnet geometry files may be exported to the RS-274-X Extended Gerber format. This tool simplifies the back-annotation of geometry files to circuit board layout systems (a description for the Mentor Graphics Board Station is included).

GerberWizard is available for Windows 9x/NT/2000.

geo3d- 3D Viewer for Sonnet 6/7

The development of compact multilayer modules with a high number of metalization layers increases the necessity of three dimensional graphical views of a complete circuit. To assist our Sonnet customers with the design of these circuits, we provide a powerful 3D viewer for Sonnet 6/7 geometry files.

geo3d is based on OpenGL. The quality and speed depends mainly on the graphics adapter and the respective OpenGL drivers.

geo3d is available for Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/XP. For download, click here (geo3d.zip, 962kB)

Important: In Sonnet Windows versions, geo3d is already included, no download required!
